The following best describes the families I work with:
Those to whom it may have been suggested their child is Hypermobile during the course of other assessments
Parents whose child is having multiple symptoms and who are exploring “Hypermobility” as the cause
Kids/teens who’s symptoms are affecting their participation in some or all of these areas - family life, school,
hobbies and sports
Kids/teens who are experiencing barriers to exercise e.g. Pain and Fatigue
Kids/teens who may have other diagnoses that may overlap with Hypermobility, e.g. Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Dyspraxia or other Neurodiversities, Sensory Processing Differences etc.
Families who need education, coaching and support with management.
If your child is Hypermobile and...
Has no symptoms
Has a one-off sprain/strain
Has no barriers to exercise
Is not experiencing any difficulties with activities of daily living/participation
